Consumer electronics are the industries where solder powder is used the most. Currently, the solder pastes mainly used in the mobile phone and notebook industries still require T3 and T4 particle size solder powder. About 80% of the global solder powder usage is concentrated on these two types. Additionally, with the refinement of electronic components and the continuous narrowing of spacing, the usage of T5, T6, and T7 solder powders is gradually increasing. The application of ultra-fine powder (T6/T7/T8) may be a necessary path in the development direction of solder powder in the future.
